    STEAM FITTING

    Steam fitting into your daily
recourse the sign says once your
    through with venerables entering Valdosta

but God don't eat the hammocks Captain
should you listen to your Glory God
just don't give us more than we can hand

hold for questioning steam fits don't cut
the mustard Captain into bite size rooster
errands a girl can live with after what you

crawled in under the rock fits for a king
the sign says nothing about trocar rentals
leaching mooches out of a jar of henpecks

you can't truss when the chips are
under the yardarm steam comes with
after all what-have-you days of our

    lies before the contemptables pull
the scales off the blind geographic
but God don't soak the April issue

if you know what's cooking Captain
    cracking white Valdosta for a
steam pipe shoot out the nipples.

    ELBOW MARCONI

    My dog will fetch her
funny bone and drain the humors
when her dewclaw hits an elbow

    Fish have funny bones slicing
    Hither and Yon both lunged
for the bobber as Deke was landing

    My funny bone goes begging
"Try Grecian formulas for the area
    and the hazy middle distance"

His fury hath no funny bone like
the girl who married banana ripe
    all on a Saturday ladder

What funny bones can't do for Glory
the Captain swiveled his and look
    what the boiler sneezed

    Glory swiped their funny bones
and laid them in a manger tickling
Honda syrup through their little diodes

Hit your funny bone with Visa
to see the swallows singing before
    she spits them out

    Go fetch the funny bone
    your choke collar is waiting
    to say grace before stickers

    Alexis Funnybone Jones smacked
her elbow a good one for a change
    of heart and dry knickers

    Alexis Funnybone Jones after Glory
wasn't the Captain's idea of feeling
numb and dizzy in a half acre after

    projecting his elbow
    would come in early down
the path of leasing and forgetting

I hit my funny bone the dog
cried wolves the stars saw me
    and I saw them.
