TO HIM You are miniature as far as what matters Shrinking like rivers without any rain or better yet like driving away from where you stand and watching you disappear into nothing AMENDS I pad my lies with flesh Cover up my past with pounds that make it appear inconceivable Were you to ask me now I would ask you back if you were serious if you could fathom it at all believable I would aerobisize around the question as futile illusion would give credence to my diversion It's not a yes or no situation that I respond to I am camouflaged in my own guilt and subconsciously stay in the safety of gentle deceit GLORY GOLD OF AN ANCIENT RELIABLE Life floats away like suicide Tomorrow is an addition Today will be a mistake My breath escapes me like love With my eyes closed I can make us happy again The taste of tears evaporate My blood fucks my veins and dying is just a reason I can't deal with - Cheryl Townsend 2001
