after i finished writing the sun also rises i gave it to a guy i barely knew told him go ahead claim it's your own i just like the creating not the hassles afterward i don't know whatever became of him but i went on to write things i called look homeward angel the grapes of wrath and on the road all of which i just left lying in furnished rooms
